Morning Reset Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 18, 2026

Morning Reset is built to use as little personal data as possible. The launch build does not use third-party analytics, ad SDKs, accounts, or cross-app tracking.

What stays on your device

• Your morning flow progress, streaks, answers, and flow check-out history
• Your selected intention, morning notification time, and other app preferences
• Morning Pages freewriting entries (Premium feature)
• Premium entitlement state and paywall timing

This data is stored locally in your device's app sandbox and in a shared App Group container so the home-screen widget can display your streak. It never leaves your device through Morning Reset.

What Apple handles

• App Store purchases, free trials, renewals, billing, and restore purchases
• iCloud backup of the app's local data if you have iCloud backup enabled on your device

External requests the app can make

• App Store and StoreKit requests needed for subscription purchase and restore
• Optional on-device insight generation on supported Apple devices (no data leaves the device)

What Morning Reset does not do

• No third-party advertising
• No selling personal data
• No cross-app tracking
• No account creation in the launch build
• No collection of health, fitness, location, contacts, or biometric data

Audio during the ritual

Morning Reset plays a soft ambient pad and subtle chimes during the morning ritual flow (from the moment you tap the Live Activity until you reach the first-win screen). The audio is generated locally on your device and is not streamed from any server. The audio session is active only during the ritual itself and stops automatically when you complete or dismiss the flow.

Health and exercise content

Morning Reset includes optional breathing and mobility exercises. These are not a substitute for professional medical advice. Consult your doctor before starting any exercise programme, especially if you have a health condition. Stop immediately if you feel pain or discomfort. Use at your own risk.

Children

Morning Reset is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this URL with a new effective date.
